Carla practises in care proceedings and private law. She is regularly instructed by both local authorities and parents in all matters relating to child law.
Crime
Carla prosecutes and defends in both the magistrates and the Crown court. She is a Grade 2 prosecutor and her practice encompasses a wide variety of offences including fraud. Carla is also frequently instructed on behalf of the Police in relation to POCA and other civil applications in the criminal courts.
General civil
Carla has extensive experience in pleading and advising on a wide range of personal injury matters including tripping/slipping, RTAs and work related injuries. She has appeared for claimants and defendants in a large number of fast and multi track trials. Carla has also been instructed in a number of employment tribunals for both employers and employees.
