Practice
All aspects of law relating to children, including residence, contact, child protection and adoption. Chris works mainly in public law child care cases, representing parents and members of the extended family as well as local authorities and children by their guardians. He is also regularly involved in private law disputes between parents or carers, and often works in cases involving domestic violence.
Notable Cases
Through involvement in a series of High Court cases over the last five years, Chris has developed a particular interest in cases where surrogacy agreements have broken down.
Personal
Chris lives in Exeter with his wife and two children having moved to Devon after twelve years in Manchester and Preston. He is an obsessive cyclist and a keen but not very elegant surfer.
