Declan O'Callaghan works primarily within the field of Public Law, though has significant experience of Civil and Criminal matters. He is regularly instructed in the public law fields of Housing, Prison, Asylum and Immigration, Education, Local Authority, Social Welfare and Asylum Support. A Teaching Fellow at the University of Exeter, he presents numerous lectures to professional and student audiences around the United Kingdom and abroad. When not working, he is usually to be found travelling. He has visited 65 countries to date and states that Iran, China, Uzbekistan, Mozambique and Laos have been the most interesting so far. Cape Town was the most fun city and Trans Dniestr the most fun country to try to get into.
