Contact and Clerk

Clerk: Gareth Latchem

Sara is a specialist family practitioner who undertakes work across the full spectrum of family law.

Family Law – Care Cases

She has extensive experience of representing all types of clients in care proceedings and is regularly instructed by Local Authorities, Guardians, and solicitors representing competent children. Sara is particularly sought after to act for parents who may be vulnerable or challenging for a number of different reasons. She handles the full range of care and adoption cases, including those involving non-accidental injuries and parents with learning difficulties, as well as removal from the jurisdiction and complex private law residence and contact disputes.

Family Law – Finance & Co-habitation

Sara has a particular interest in financial provision and co-ownership disputes. She takes a no-nonsense approach to advising clients in these matters and aims to save costs wherever possible. She greatly enjoys the fact that this area of work demands a different and complimentary set of skills from Children Act work and she aims to maintain a fair mix of the two areas in her practice.

Sara has taught law to A’ level and ILEX students, and has given seminars on a range issues, most recently bankruptcy and financial remedies, special guardianship allowances, the Civil Partnership Act and conducting fact finding hearings.

As a late entrant to the Bar, Sara brings a wealth of additional experience and life skills to her practise.
