Clerks
The administration of Chambers work is supervised by our Senior Clerk Philip Alden.
Philip, who spent over ten years in Chambers in London before moving to the westcountry, will be able to advise upon the particular qualifications, suitability and availability of individual counsel. He is also able to advise on the formation of teams of counsel for larger and more complicated matters. If we do not have the necessary expertise within chambers, he will advise on the most suitable counsel from other Chambers.
If estimates of fees are required these can be given either by telephone or in writing, preferably after sight of the papers. We encourage early delivery of briefs on the understanding that fees may be re-negotiated if the case does not proceed.
For specialist areas please contact the relevant assistant clerks:
Wendy Frost (crime)
Jo Creech (family and civil)
Whilst we as a Chambers strive to offer the highest possible levels of service to our clients we appreciate that problems can occur. To that end Chambers operate a complaints procedure. If you have a complaint regarding any member of Chambers or staff please contact Head of Chambers, Martin Meeke QC, whether informally, by telephone or in writing.
