Practice
Since joining Chambers in 1999, Tom has established a wide-ranging practice consisting of criminal and civil cases in approximately equal measure, with a particular emphasis on regulatory and administrative work.
Crime
Tom prosecutes and defends in all areas of crime, including violent, sexual and drug offences, and offences of dishonesty including fraud and money laundering.
Administrative
Tom is often instructed to advise upon and appear in a variety of administrative and regulatory matters, including Trading Standards, benefit fraud and truancy prosecutions, anti-social behaviour order applications, and environmental and street works cases. He prosecutes and defends.
Inquests
Tom appears in Coroners' inquests, predominantly in cases relating to deaths occurring in road traffic collisions.
Civil
Tom's areas of practice include negligence and personal injury, landlord and tenant, contract and commercial work.
