PROFILE
Anita joined Chambers in 2015 and has since developed a busy family law practice, including family finance, public and private children, international family law and applications under the Family Law Act 1996.
Prior to joining the bar, Anita worked in Investment Banking in London and for a local firm of Solicitors specialising in family and criminal law.
Anita has a particular interest in cases involving those with communication and learning needs. She draws experience from her previous training and work for the National Autistic Society and has completed the vulnerable witness training.

CHILDREN ACT 1989
Anita accepts instructions in all Children Act matters, including public and private law. She has experience representing parties at all stages of proceedings from directions hearings to contested findings of fact, final hearings and appeals. She acts for local authorities, parents, children’s guardians, intervenors and the Official Solicitor. Her practice covers a wide range of issues including cases involving neglect, substance misuse, mental health, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, factitious illness and non-accidental injury.
Anita is regularly instructed in cases involving enforcement proceedings or removal from the jurisdiction. She is happy to draft related documents or provide opinions on cases which engage Brussels II, Hague Convention.
FINANCIAL REMEDIES
Anita has represented individuals with a high net worth, as well as those with more modest means. She is known for her dedicated, pragmatic and robust approach when representing partners in all areas of financial remedies from advice on settlement through to final hearing.
Anita has extensive experience representing parties at FDAs, FDRs and final hearings. Instructions are accepted in all areas from bespoke advice regarding settlement or tactical approach, relief on divorce through to applications pursuant to Schedule 1 claims of the Children Act 1989.
COURT OF PROTECTION
Instructions are accepted in all court of protection work, with a particular focus on the Mental Capacity Act, vulnerable parties and DOLS applications.

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR)
