Colleton Crime Team & COVID-19
In these unprecedented times the Criminal Law team at Colleton has quickly taken on board the new methods of working remotely to attend court hearings and assist clients. All of our members are continuing to work with their existing caseloads and able to accept new instructions in all criminal matters. We are attending court via Skype or telephone and are also happy to conduct conferences using Skype, Zoom or telephone conferencing.
We are determined that defendants, victims of crime and witnesses cannot be left behind as this health crisis unfolds and are doing all we can to assist the courts in ensuring that the interests of justice continue to be served. Many hearings have had to be adjourned but others will and should go ahead remotely. Colleton Chambers will continue to provide the highest level of advice and advocacy across all platforms.
In line with government advice the clerking team is working remotely – if you need advice or advocacy from a barrister in the Criminal Team please contact Nikkie Browning (Criminal Clerk) by e-mail: nikkiebrowning@colletonchambers.co.uk
