Sarah Hornblower champions ELIPS!

What is ELIPS?

The Employment Tribunal Litigant in Person Support Scheme, or ELIPS for short, is available to litigants in person to understand the tribunal process they have taken on when issuing a claim in the Employment Tribunal.  ELIPS is a scheme run by the Employment Law Association (ELA) to help litigants in person gain access to justice.  It is hoped that by helping the litigants in person with the tribunal process that the wheels of justice will run that bit more smoothly for all involved.

Sarah, a specialist employment barrister at Colleton Chambers, was selected to speak about her work volunteering for the clinic run by ELA whilst promoting the scheme as part of National Volunteers Week (5-9 June 2023).  Sarah and other volunteers in the scheme discuss the benefits of volunteering for ELIPS in the short video linked below:
